Completers of the EduQual Diploma in Business Management (SCQF Level 11) are eligible to apply for the University of Wolverhampton's International MBA Top-Up. The programme is delivered online, and is delivered and assessed directly by the University.

Entry from September to December — within fifteen months in all. Enter in September or October, and you can aim to complete within 2027.
The degree is awarded by a British university
that has kept changing, for some two hundred years.
The University of Wolverhampton is a British university with origins in 1827. It is recognised in UK law as a degree-awarding institution (a Recognised Body), and is registered with the Office for Students (OfS), the regulator of higher education. Its degree-awarding status can be verified by anyone on GOV.UK, the UK government's official website.
The degree conferred on completion is the International Master of Business Administration — a degree conferred under the British university system.

No fixed day of the week, and no lecture hours. Self-study with online learning materials — in your own time, at your own pace. Not stopping your reality for the sake of learning, but building learning into the middle of your reality. Where you build it in is for you to decide.
Self-study — not a programme you study alone
There is no timetable because the management of your time is entrusted to you. The substance of your learning is not left to you alone. A dedicated tutor in Britain — standard for every student — reads your assignments in English. And the academic-practice tutorials, provided independently and in Japanese, teach the form of postgraduate study: how to research, how to think, how to write. Two layers, Britain and Japan, build the foundation for completion.
All in English — the same language as the world
Materials and assignments in English. And the dissertation: one-to-one with a dedicated supervisor at the University — written through research dialogue in English, an experience that connects you directly with the world. Perfect English is not required — what matters is the will to see it through in English. Even with a dictionary at hand, only the words you write through become your own.
Generic answers do not pass.
Assessment is by coursework. The five domains of management are completed through three assessment assignments. The subject is an organisation you know well — your own company is an option — and you analyse and design against its reality, using academic frameworks. Generic answers are not accepted. And at the end: a 15,000-word dissertation on a management theme of your own choosing, written through in English.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): depending on your professional experience and existing qualifications, you may apply for exemption from part of the study (whether exemption is granted is confirmed by assessment after entry). Sprint the shorter path, or study all five units in full depth — that is your choice.
Generative AI is the co-pilot.
Outside the curriculum, we provide lectures on putting generative AI to work in your learning — generative AI as a co-pilot for your thinking. Searching the literature, structuring information, studying English expression: that pre-processing is handed to the AI, while you concentrate on the intellectual creation only you can do — framing the question, thinking it into your own company, making the judgement.
None of this is for having AI write your assignments or your dissertation. You master the co-pilot — and the controls stay in your hands.

Enrolment fee / tuition, total: ¥2,480,000 (tax included) — the price for Cohort 1 alone
For Cohort 2 (entry from January 2027), the total of enrolment fee and tuition is ¥2,890,000 (tax included: enrolment fee ¥500,000, tuition ¥2,390,000). The application fee is the same.
Only the first cohort can create the first place to learn. The learning of Cohort 1 is built by Cohort 1 alone — this is the price for Cohort 1 alone, for that beginning.
The degree is awarded by the University of Wolverhampton, a British university whose origins date back to 1827. What is new is the path to this degree from Japan — and Cohort 1 of the SCX Professional Program are the first to walk it.

- A bachelor's degree and at least two years of management experience. Or at least five years of management experience.
- English: we recommend entry for those with a certain level or above (we share the guideline at the individual consultation).

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) — if you hold MBA credits, professional qualifications in management, or long management experience, you may apply for exemption from part of Stage 1. On completing all stages, the University of Wolverhampton confers the degree of International Master of Business Administration. Engraved in the coat of arms on the certificate are the words this university has carried for some two hundred years — Innovation and Opportunity.
Should you wish, to the annual graduation ceremony on the university's campus in Britain. You may also choose to receive your certificate by post. Whichever you choose, the degree conferred is the same.
