Students who have completed the EduQual Diploma in Business Management (SCQF Level 11) are eligible to apply for the University of Wolverhampton International MBA Top-Up. This programme is delivered online and assessed directly by the University.

Japanese teachers lecture in Japanese on the five areas of management — strategic management, finance, leadership, marketing and organisational resources. Whatever you do not understand, you can ask there and then, in Japanese. You do not move on thinking you have understood when you have not.
Your own business becomes the material
For two of the three assignments, you can take as your subject an organisation you know well — your own company, if you wish. You analyse its reality, and design for it, through the frameworks of management. A generic answer is not accepted. What you learn can be put to use in your business judgement from that very day.
Your weekday work does not have to stop
Lectures are usually on Saturdays: one module each month, in three sessions of four hours. The classroom is a meeting room in Shibuya. Whether you meet in the classroom or join from home on Zoom, you take the same lecture. Sessions you cannot attend are available as recordings. No one is left behind.
The writing, in English
— in the same language as the world
Your assignments and your dissertation are written in English. As you write your own business through in English, English becomes a language in which you can speak about management to counterparts overseas, too. The form for beginning to write is set in place through the academic-skills coaching in Japanese (three sessions of two hours).
For those who prefer to continue in English — Solo
The same Stage 1, towards the same degree, can also be studied through self-study in English. You can consult a dedicated tutor in the UK in English, and the academic-skills coaching in Japanese (three sessions of two hours) is included.
You can begin at any time from December 2026.
Beside you: people who are moving reality
Shibuya Web3 University, which we run, has held a live event every month without fail since 2023, at WeWork in Shibuya Scramble Square. Total attendance has reached 3,000. Its members, spanning ages and industries, number more than 300.
The question we put each time is a single one: with the newest technology, whose reality changes — and which reality? This is not a place to stock up on knowledge, but a place where the people who gather start something.
There are people to whom the story of your challenge makes sense without explanation. Even before you enrol, if you come, you will see who is there. Attending is not a condition of entry.
The degree is awarded by a British university
that has kept changing, for some two hundred years.
The University of Wolverhampton is a British university with origins in 1827. It is recognised in UK law as a degree-awarding institution (a Recognised Body), and is registered with the Office for Students (OfS), the regulator of higher education. Anyone can verify its registration on the official register of the Office for Students (OfS) — the check-point officially signposted by GOV.UK, the UK government's website.
The degree conferred on completion is the International Master of Business Administration — a degree conferred under the British university system.

(Study books are purchased separately by each student. Resit and extension fees, and travel costs should you attend the graduation ceremony in Britain, are not included.)

When you talk it over with your family: within fifteen months is the guideline for completion. Work does not stop.
Class lectures are usually on Saturdays, three times a month. On days you cannot come, join from home on Zoom, or watch the recording. And graduation — in Britain, with your family, if you wish.
Entry guidelines
A bachelor's degree and at least two years of management experience. Or at least five years of management experience.
English: we recommend entry for those with a certain level or above (we share the guideline at the individual consultation).
In your hands, a British degree.
On completing all stages, the University of Wolverhampton confers the degree of International Master of Business Administration. On the crest on the certificate are the words that capture the spirit of the University in a single phrase — Innovation and Opportunity.
Should you wish, to the annual graduation ceremony on the University's campus in Britain. You may also choose to receive your certificate by post. Whichever you choose, the degree conferred is the same.
